Anti-Bullying Campaign

Mission Statement:

We are the Victorium chapter of the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (In service to others) that provides volunteer and charity to our local communities. Our Chapter is named Victorium because we are victorious over bullying. Veritas means “Truth,” which is what we stand for.

One of the main volunteer programs is our Live Veritas Anti-Bullying campaign that we are bringing to our local schools. Many of us have our own stories from our childhoods about being bullied. There are some of us that were the bullies and regret hurting others which is why we are passionate about helping our youth today.

We have been invited into your local schools recently to speak about bullying and how it can impact one another. Our goal is to try and save our youth from being bullied or to reach out to the ones that are the bullies and provide education and to give each student a safe place to go to school and learn.

Within our campaign, we have also created an anti-bullying program for the students to participate in. We will nominate 5 students within the school to be an official Veritas Anti-bullying support member. We will provide a sponsor from our chapter who is a Club brother as an outreach for each student. Your child will have the ability to reach out to their anti-bully brother for feedback, advice, or to discuss any current situations that are occurring in the school. In turn, their Brother will be able to talk with the school officials on what is happening and help in stopping bullying from happening or continuing to occur.

Each Anti-Bully support member will be given a small backpack and a T-shirt with the Anti-Bullying slogan and logo on it. They will also be provided a journal to write a small bio about themselves and who they want to be when they become adults and be asked to complete at least (5) good deeds a month and write it in their journal. Once a month a Veritas Club Brother will attend a lunch to have a discussion with the support members on their deeds, how the team is helping with the Anti-bullying support to their peers and what they can do to continue having a bully free zone within their school.

We are not in any way asking kids to get involved in physical activity but to only be aware of situations that are occurring and to encourage others to come forward when there is bullying happening. We will be the individuals to report activity to the school.

With parents help and permission we hope to make a huge impact in our children’s schools and lives.
